On the island of Aegina, we are extremely fortunate to be surrounded by ancient temples .

The temple of Afaia ,devoted to the goddess of nature Artemis and the goddess of wisdom Athena . It is on one side of a three equal sided triangle with the temple of Poseidon,Neptune the god of the sea in Sounion and the Parthenon at the Acropolis in Athens. The energy is tremendous. It is felt all around the sacred site.

There is the temple of Apollo ,the god of the sun and presiding , on top of the Ellanion Oros is the temple of Zeus ,father of all. Treasures to be discovered.

In our wedding vows exchange ceremony ,we are also deeply inspired by the myth of Eros and Psyche, and we honor the eternal male and female journey of overcoming obstacles and achieving divine union. The Greek philosopher Plato, in “Symposium”speaks through Aristophanes about finding your soulmate. In the very beginning we were one person ,so perfect that Zeus cut each in two and we became destined to long for our other half through life ,in search of our soulmate.

Our officiant is highly knowledgeable in history and mythology and devoted to incorporating the symbolic actions and ancient concepts into a personalized,non denominational ceremony or vow exchange ,honoring the Ancient Greek gods .
